COLM MOLLOY CHITA REVERA HOPE PRINT

It’s based on a scene from Sweet Charity where three dance girls go up onto the roof top and sing about their dreams of a better life that are sustaining them through the life they have. Chita Rivera leaps over a railing in a gorgeously exuberant wave of joie de vivre and that’s what I’ve represented here, limiting my palette to the colours of the progress flag.

It’s a campy little moment of hope and joy in what can be a tough world for our community.
